Inventory Reports & Home Condition Reports

Letting is a serious business and in today’s market, it is considered professional and near essential to provide a Home Condition & Inventory Report. As the name suggests, not only will the report list the items included within the tenancy but it will also describe the condition of the property (room by room or space by space) whilst also identifying any notably defects within it. Any existing defects will be determined at the beginning of the tenancy and properly recorded so that there is clear agreement and understanding of these defects between tenant and landlord from Day 1 of the tenancy. Reference to this report will also provide vital and influential support when deciding if all or part security deposit should be returned at the end of the tenancy.
In addition to being a worded descriptive document all our Home Condition & Inventory reports are supported by colour digital photographs which best illustrate and detail the condition of the property and its affects.
How & when!?
Once your property is to the standard that you are intending to hand it over in (not before!) please contact us and we will arrange an appointment to visit the property to carry out the Home Condition Report. Please consider that our site visit will take between 1-3 hours depending on the size of the property and whether it is furnished or unfurnished. An electronic copy of the report can usually be submitted to you within 24 hours of our visit. A fast-track same day service is also feasible.
